Monday 20th June 2016 8.30am registration 9.00-11.30 am performance and workshop or 12.30pm registration 13.00-15.30pm performance and workshop.

The event is being held to raise awareness of domestic abuse between adults and young people . Staff, volunteers and community groups across Salford are invited to watch Black Eyes and Cottage Pie, an innovative multi media theatre production that tells the story of Jodie who is in an abusive teenage relationship with Jordan and how over time this escalating abuse impacts on her life. The play also highlights issues of sexuality, adult domestic abuse, consent, sexting and the power of positive peer relationships.

A workshop will follow the performance to clarify referral pathways and staff from Women's Aid / Salford City Council and the Police will present information on the Domestic Abuse Strategy
